Perched on a rocky outcrop between limestone hills and valleys, Les Pennes-Mirabeau has preserved its windmill and two châteaux. It features a vibrant theater, a 600-seat concert hall and a municipal school of music and dramatic arts. Les Pennes, situated 17 km from Marseille, is just a few minutes from the Aix-en-Provence TGV station.

The smaller town of Gignac-la-Nerthe has an equally vibrant cultural and active lifestyle. With its increasingly successful theater festival, its athletic facilities, and its fitness trails, this city is truly a great place to live.

Head to Marseille: the l’Estaque quarter is opposite the pretty Marseille harbor. Once a simple fishing hamlet, l’Estaque has retained its working-class village ambiance and marina. Marseille residents love to take a stroll here at weekends to snack on local delicacies like panisses and chichis.

A great option for city-lovers who prefer to live in a detached house or in an apartment close to the sea. Movie fans can go to the art house cinema l’Alhambra and art lovers will enjoy the Monticelli Foundation.

Located on the Blue Coast, the coastal resorts of Carry-le-Rouet, Sausset-les-Pins and Le Rove are a 15 min drive from your office, 30 min by train from central Marseille and 30 min from the international airport of Marseille-Provence on the freeway.

Carry and Sausset are part of the Blue Coast Marine Park and enjoy a superb coastline, where beaches and coves abound. Famous for its goats and traditional brousse (delicious fresh cheese, light and crumbly), le Rove is a decidedly Provençal village.

Via the A55 freeway, the TER train service or the RTM bus network linked to line 2 of the metro (Bougainville).

During the week, free mini-shuttles run every 10 minutes from 7:00 am to 9:30 am then from 4:30 pm to 7:00 pm between Bougainville metro station and certain commercial areas (Haribo, Profil, and Santerne). Finally, from May to October, sea shuttles run to Estaque-Vieux-Port.
